WARSAW — The Magical Meadows will host a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of its $2 million expansion project at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24.
The expansion project includes the construction of two new indoor riding arenas: one that will expand services for individuals with disabilities and at-risk youth, and one will be dedicated to serving veterans and first-responders. This expansion will allow year-round programming and improve accessibility.
“Not only will this project help us transform the lives of the people we serve, but it will also transform our community in ways that will soon go from dreams to reality,” said Michael Kuhn, executive director of The Magical Meadows. They have secured $1.2 million toward the $2 million goal but feels the strong community support has allowed them to move forward with the new construction process with the hope of both arenas being completed by spring of 2026.
Representatives from K21 Health Foundation and the Kosciusko County Community Foundation will be in attendance, along with Kosciusko County Sheriff Jim Smith, Magical Meadows riders and families, and other community leaders.
The Magical Meadows is a therapeutic horseback riding center in Warsaw for children and adults with physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges. Visit their website for more information along with information on the Growing with Heart Capital Campaign and Expansion Project.
