Warsaw Man Arrested After Undercover Drug Deal

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested after allegedly selling drugs to an undercover law enforcement agent.

Anthony Alan Blankenship, 37, 1692 E. 200N Lot 62, Warsaw, is charged with manufacturing/dealing methamphetamine between 5-10 grams, a level 3 felony; dealing in a narcotic drug with intent to sell, a level 4 felony; possession of methamphetamine between 5-10 grams, a level 5 felony; and possession of a narcotic drug, a level 6 felony.
In July, NET 43 Drug Task Force conducted a controlled purchase of methamphetamine and fentanyl from Blankenship.
A confidential informant provided Blankenship with documented task force funds in exchange for 7.02 grams of methamphetamine and fentanyl. The controlled purchase was captured on video surveillance.Â
Blankenship was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Sept. 2.
