Kosciusko County

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 3:36 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, West Lake Street at Fox Farm Road, Warsaw. Drivers: Ruth Elder, 73, Pleasant Grove Drive, Warsaw; and Mikayla Gates, 26, 5th Road, Plymouth. Elder’s vehicle was merging westbound into a roundabout when she entered Gates’s lane, colliding with Gates’s vehicle. Damages are estimated at $10,000.

Elkhart County

Officers with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, SR 13 and CR 40, Millersburg. Drivers: unnamed driver, 17, Middlebury; and Ivy Valentiny, 32, Millersburg. The 17-year-old female driver was traveling north on SR 13 when she rear-ended Valentiny’s vehicle. Valentiny and a passenger in her vehicle, Rhonda Rankin, 67, South Bend, were taken to Goshen Hospital for complaints of head, back, and neck pain.

Fulton County

Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, West SR 114 and South CR 350W, Kewanna. Driver: Thomas Steel, 83, Kewanna. Steel’s vehicle hit a deer.
