Milford
Officers with the Milford Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 9:53 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, Ulrich Drive and Turkey Creek Drive, Milford. Driver: Buddy A. Greer, 47, Ulrich Drive, Milford. Greer reported that while drunk, he drove his vehicle off the road into a pond. He was transported for a drug and alcohol blood draw.
- 4:55 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, North SR 15 and West CR 1300N, Milford. Drivers: Kaylin Fisher, 18, East CR 800N., Leesburg; and Philip Troyer, 24, CR 100, Nappanee. Fisher’s vehicle prematurely accelerated and rear-ended Troyer’s while both vehicles were stopped at an intersection. Damage up to $10,000.
- 4:02 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, East Syracuse Street and North Main Street. Driver: Charles A. Herr, 44, East High Street, Warsaw. Herr’s vehicle bottomed out driving over railroad tracks. Damage up to $5,000.
North Webster
Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 11:18 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, SR 13, North Webster. Driver: Ryan D. Shelton, no age listed, East Center Street, Warsaw. Shelton’s car collided with a deer. Damage up to $5,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accident:
- 12:37 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, East County Line Road and CR 29. Driver: Jeremy Klinedinst, 43, CR 25, New Paris. Klinedinst’s vehicle swerved off a road and hit a utility pole. Damage up to $25,000.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents:
- 8:56 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, US 30, at Commerce Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Kaden J. Ciaccia-Long, 19, North CR 175E, Warsaw; and Ean T. Rose-Wortinger, 27, SR 13 East Trailer 12, North Manchester. Ciaccia-Long said he believed the traffic light at US 30 and Commerce Drive was yellow when he entered the intersection. Rose-Wortinger said his lane had a green traffic signal and was attempting to turn when a collision occurred. Damage up to $5,000.
- 12:28 p.m., Sunday, Sept 7, US 30, Warsaw, Drivers: Dillman Teel, 25, East CR 700N, Rochester; and Tonya Cook, 47, South SR 25, Warsaw. Teel’s vehicle rear-ended Cook’s vehicle. Damages estimated at $5,000.
- 11:51a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, East Center Street, west of North Lincoln Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Brandon Hoffman, 45, North American Way, Syracuse; and Paul Kyle, 66, Chapman Lake Drive, Warsaw. Hoffman’s vehicle rear-ended Kyle’s vehicle. Damages estimated at $25,000.
- 8:31 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, East Center Street, at Eastlake Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Derrick A. Stepp, 29, East Main Street Apartment 4, Piketon, Ohio; and Alyssa R. Gonzalez, 23, West Beech Street, Warsaw. Stepp said he was unable to see due to sun glare while traveling east on East Center Street. Gonzalez said she believed Stepp ran a red light. Damage up to $10,000.
- 8:04 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, SR 15, at 059 Ramp D, Warsaw. Drivers: Marci J. Reinhard, 53, South James Street, Milford; and Vickey L. Brooks, 76, East Brookfield Circle South, Warsaw. Reinhard was traveling in the left lane of SR 15 and swerved her vehicle to avoid hitting Brooks’ vehicle, which was stopped at a red traffic light. A passenger in Brooks’ vehicle, Garry M. Brooks, 71, Warsaw, complained of neck pain. Damages estimated at $25,000.
- 6:49 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, Lake City Highway, at East CR 200N, Warsaw. Drivers: Max Cohen, 71, Southwest Greenview Drive, Topeka, Kan; and Shawn Robinson,26, FM 2223 Bryan, Tex. Cohen merged into the right lane, hitting Robinson’s vehicle. Damages estimated at $5,000.
- 5:16 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, Argonne Road, at East Market Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Loudjina D. Andrew, 17, South Packerton Road, Winona Lake; and Timothy W. Hollowell, 54, North Lake Street, Warsaw. Andrew was attempting to turn left onto East Market Street and did not see Hollowell’s vehicle traveling north on Argonne Road due to a vehicle next to her. Damage up to $10,000.
- 10:44 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, East US 30 at Parker Street, Warsaw. Drivers; Hanna Obacz, 17, South Briarwood Drive, Warsaw; and Nolan Strydom, Miller Street, La Porte. Obacz was driving on US 30, and wanted to turn right onto Parker Street, when Strydom’s vehicle rear-ended her. Strydom said Obacz’s vehicle cut in front of his path of travel, resulting in a collision. Damages estimated at $10,000.
- 9:08 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, SR 15, at East Jefferson Street, Warsaw. Drivers: Joshua B. Slone, 27, West CR 225N, Etna Green; and Dustin C. Bussard, 38, West CR 800S, Claypool. Slone was attempting to pass Bussard’s vehicle when a collision occurred. Damage up to $10,000.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:
- 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, South CR 900E and East CR 350S, Akron. Driver: Anthony Styers, 28, Plymouth. Styers’ vehicle hit a deer.
- 7:56 p.m. Monday, Sept. 8, North CR 1050W and West CR 75N, Kewanna. Driver: Matthais Field, 16, Rochester. Field’s vehicle hit a telephone pole.
- 9:16 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, Fort Wayne Road and North CR 900E, Akron. Driver: Kassidy Phipps, 38, Rochester. Phipps’ motorcycle hit a deer. He complained of right side pain and sustained possible broken legs. Phipps was flown from the scene.
- 8:25 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, East SR 14 and North CR 550E, Rochester. Driver: Dakota Myers, 26, Rochester. Myers’ vehicle hit a deer.
- 8:09 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, North SR 17 and West CR 475N, Rochester. Driver: Angela Kisela, 47, Monterey. Kisela’s vehicle hit a deer.
