Longtime Local Family Physician Retires After 30 Years
News Release

Dr. David Dick
WARSAW — Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital has announced the retirement of a longtime family medicine provider, David Dick, M.D., effective Thursday, Aug. 28.
Dr. Dick has served the Warsaw and North Webster communities, providing care to generations of families, for 30 years.
“I will miss the long-term relationships with families, my nurse, my peers and my office manager,” said Dick. “Thanks for putting up with me and my idiosyncrasies for the long run. Thank you to the loyal patients who didn’t second-guess every decision and recommendation suggested. Shared decision making is always better.”
Early in his career, Dick received his American Board of Family Medicine certification. He enjoyed being an aviation medical examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration and plans to continue this in retirement. Dick, a Canadian native, grew up around health care, following in the footsteps of his father and uncle, who were both physicians, while his brother works as an orthopedic surgeon.
In his retirement, Dick said he is looking forward to spending more time with his wife, Lynette, and his five grandchildren.
“In the fast-paced world of health care, 30 years is more than a number — it’s a testament to unwavering compassion, resilience and dedication. Dr. Dick has been a cornerstone for the community, consistently providing exceptional care and support to our patients and their families,” said Chad Towner, chief executive officer of Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital.
The hospital asks the community to join it in extending gratitude and best wishes to Dr. Dick as he embarks on this new chapter.
