Michael Jay Johnson, 76, Columbia City, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2025.

He was born July 15, 1949, in Fort Wayne. His wife, Carol R. (White) Johnson, whom he married June 21, 1969, survives.

He also is survived by his children, Jeffery (Kelli) Johnson, Alan (Trecia) Johnson and Jill (Jerry Reed) Johnson; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
