Warsaw Man Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges After Police Pursuit

SILVER LAKE — A Warsaw man was arrested on multiple drug charges after a police pursuit in Silver Lake.
Brandon Kane Eber, 29, 2605 E. Center St., Warsaw, is charged with dealing in methamphetamine, a level 2 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; unlawful possession of a syringe and resisting law enforcement, both level 6 felonies; possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana with a prior conviction and possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction, both class A misdemeanors.
On Aug. 4, a Silver Lake Police officer received information about Eber having a warrant for his arrest. When the officer went to a residence to serve the warrant, he saw Eber leave the area on a motorcycle.
According to court documents, the officer pulled Eber over and told him to come over to his patrol vehicle. Eber fled the scene, reaching speeds of 115 mph while traveling west on SR 14. During the pursuit, Eber allegedly disregarded multiple traffic control devices and drove through a yard. The pursuit continued until Eber lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. He attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended.
Upon searching Eber’s person, officers found multiple used hypodermic needles, 22.6 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana.
Eber told law enforcement he was delivering the meth to an individual. Officers searched Eber’s phone and found evidence of drug dealing.
Eber has prior convictions for paraphernalia and meth possession.
Eber was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Aug. 4.
