Warsaw Man Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Kayak

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested for allegedly stealing a kayak from a residence and selling it.
Levi Wedge Cunningham, 25, 714 E. Center St., Warsaw, is charged with theft, a class A misdemeanor; and theft with a prior conviction, a level 6 felony.
On July 7, a Warsaw Police officer responded to a report of a kayak being taken from a residence. The kayak’s value was estimated around $200.
According to court documents, surveillance video from a nearby residence showed a person taking the kayak from the property on July 6.
On July 18, an image of the suspect was posted to the Warsaw Police Department’s Facebook page. Officers received information the suspect was Cunningham, who said he stole the kayak because he needed money.
Cunningham told police he sold the kayak on Facebook Marketplace on July 6 for $80.
Cunningham was previously convicted of theft in Miami County in November 2024.
Cunningham was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Aug. 3.
