Sammy C. Cone, 69, Urbana, died at 11:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2025, at home.

He was born Sept. 20, 1955, in Little Rock, Ark. On July 14, 1973, he married Brenda Sue Taylor, who preceded him in death in 2015.

He is survived by a son, Keith A. Cone, Wabash; two daughters, Misty (Jeremy) Campbell, Urbana, and Samantha Cone (Stan Tharp), Disko; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a brother, William W. Tudor, Urbana; and a sister, Kelly (Tim) Luzadder, Flora.
