Ferguson Arrested After Battering Another Female

MILFORD — Kandice Ranae Ferguson, 22, 201 E. Greenhaus Drive, Apt. 55, Syracuse, has been charged with battery causing serious bodily injury, a level 5 felony; residential entry, a level 6 felony and battery, a class A misdemeanor, following an incident in Milford.
Court documents state on July 12, Kosciusko County dispatch received a call of a battery at a residence on CR 1150N, Milford. The victim, a female, reported Ferguson had assaulted her and she was bleeding from the face. After the altercation, Ferguson fled the scene with another individual. Police were given a description of the vehicle.
When a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy met with the victim, they were advised that Ferguson and a male entered the residence and a verbal altercation ensued. Ferguson physically assaulted the victim and pinned the victim, while making threats to her life during the attack. There was another male at the residence who witnessed the assault, but was not there when police arrived.
The victim was observed having a bloodied face, with an eye swollen shut and bleeding from the mouth, nose and face. She was transported to a hospital where she was found to have a fractured right orbital.
Six days later, according to the affidavit of probable cause, North Webster Police interviewed the witness the victim had mentioned. The male stated he hung out with the victim on that day and they walked to a neighbor’s house, where they spoke with Ferguson and another male. He explained they returned to the victim’s home, when approximately 45 minutes later, Ferguson and the male walked into the victim’s residence and wanted them to come outside to fight.
The male witness stated Ferguson and the male entered the home and wanted to know where the drugs were located. Ferguson allegedly got up in the victim’s face and continued to scream about the drugs before punching the victim in the face. Once struck, the victim fell to the floor and Ferguson punched her approximately three times.
Police were told Ferguson and the other male left the residence when the victim called police. He stated the victim wanted him to stay, but he went through enough that day so he went home.
Ferguson was booked Friday, Aug. 8, and held on a $12,500 full-amount bond.
