Explore the Trees of Benton Spillway on a Guided Evening Hike

ELKHART COUNTY — Discover the trees that make the local landscapes special.
Elkhart County Parks invites families and nature lovers of all ages to join them for a Tree Hike at Benton Spillway from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14. This free, guided hike is a great way to explore the outdoors, learn to identify native trees, and enjoy the beauty of the park in the evening light.
Led by Interpretive Naturalist James Holtzclaw, participants will take a leisurely walk through the Benton Spillway area while learning fascinating facts about the trees that thrive in our region.
No registration is required. Just bring your curiosity — and maybe a pair of comfortable walking shoes!
