Learn How Mediterranean Diet Could Boost Your Health

WARSAW — Karen Richey, health and human sciences educator with Purdue Extension – Marshall County, will present “Mediterranean Diet Session 3: Eat More Vegetables & Fruits” on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
The free educational program is open to the public and will begin at noon in the Home and Family Arts Building at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 E. Smith St., Warsaw.
Eating more fruits and vegetables is a key component of nearly all evidence-based dietary patterns and is widely supported by nutrition experts and medical professionals alike. Research continues to show that diets rich in fruits and vegetables can lead to improved health outcomes and help prevent chronic disease. This session will explore simple, practical ways to incorporate more produce into your daily meals.
