Warsaw Man Arrested For Allegedly Choking Woman

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested for allegedly choking a woman.
Brandon Rodrigo Juarez Resendiz, 25, 201 S. Detroit St. Apartment 12, Warsaw, is charged with strangulation, a level 6 felony; and domestic battery, a class A misdemeanor.
On July 14, a Warsaw Police officer responded to a battery report at a residence. A woman said she and Juarez Resendiz had a conversation on July 9 that took a bad turn.
According to court documents, when the woman tried to separate herself from the situation, Juarez Resendiz pushed past her and grabbed her by her throat. He choked her, slamming her head against a wall.
The woman kicked Juarez Resendiz off her, but she was grabbed again, with Juarez Resendiz throwing her to the ground.
At the time of the report, Juarez Resendiz was unable to be located by police for an interview.
Juarez Resendiz has already been arrested and released on bond. He has a pretrial conference at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11, in Kosciusko Superior Court Three.
