FORT WAYNE — Fort Wayne’s premier celebration of arts and culture, Taste of the Arts Festival, returns to Arts Campus Fort Wayne from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug 23. Presented by Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, the festival honors the region’s creative spirit through a day of live performances, hands-on activities, visual arts, and food — all offered free of charge and open to the public.

This annual event brings together local artists, performers, and cultural organizations across Northeast Indiana to celebrate the diversity of artistic expression in our community. Visitors can explore multiple stages of live music, dance, and theater, as well as a visual arts market, curated by HeART of the City and Artlink, featuring regional artists and makers.

Admission to Taste of the Arts is completely free. The only cost associated with the festival is for food or beverages purchased from local vendors or artwork bought from participating artists. No tickets are required for any part of the event. Organizers caution attendees to be wary of any individuals or websites claiming to sell tickets, as all programming is free and unticketed.

Festival highlights include over 70 live performances across multiple outdoor and indoor stages, a hands-on STEAM and creative play area for children, live plein air painting, and interactive exhibits designed to spark creativity for all ages. A wide variety of local food and drink vendors will be available throughout the day, representing the culinary diversity of the region.

Taste of the Arts is an initiative of Arts United of Greater Fort Wayne, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the arts in all 12 counties of Northeast Indiana. Arts United advances its mission through fundraising, grantmaking, business services, campus coordination, and arts advocacy.
