J.L. “Casey” Jones, 80, Wakarusa, formerly of Nappanee, died Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at The Waters of Wakarusa.

He was born Aug. 15, 1944, in Stone Bluff, Ind. His wife, Carolyn (Miller) Jones, preceded him in death in 2012.

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Tim) Rock, Nappanee; son, Russell (Alicia) Jones, Elkhart; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Rita (Red) Hansborough, Danville, Ill.; and brother, J.C. (Teresa) Jones, Sumpter, S.C.

Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, is handling arrangements.
