Paddle Boarding, Canoeing Offered Saturday In Warsaw

WARSAW — Come out and join the Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department on Saturday, July 26, for an adventure on the lake.
Community paddle boarding and canoeing is being offered anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Pike Lake, 1009 E. Arthur St., Warsaw. The program is free for all ages.
Registration is not required, but each participant, or a parent/guardian for those younger than †18, must sign an annual waiver and rules acknowledgment. One waiver is needed per‬ â€participant each year. The waiver can be found by visiting the parks department website at †https://warsaw.in.gov/818/Free-Programs.‬

Anyone younger than the age of 16 must have an adult accompany them in the‬†water.
All necessary equipment, including life vests, will be provided on a first-come,‬ †first-served basis. Equipment usage is limited to designated time slots, and safety‬ †briefings will be given to all participants before they get started. Parks staff will be on hand‬†to supervise all activities.‬
