WARSAW — Two people were flown to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, after a single vehicle crash, involving a motorcycle, on Detroit Street, in front of Texas Roadhouse.

The call was received around 7:30 p.m. tonight, July 20.

Police, fire and EMS block the highway.

Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory and Plain Township fire departments along with Lutheran EMS and Warsaw Police Department were called to the scene. Traffic was detoured around the crash sight.

A landing zone was set up in the open field between LeGrand, the former DaLite Screen property, and Lake City Bank. One of the Lutheran Air helicopters landed in the field to pick up one of the patients. The second Lutheran Air helicopter was diverted to Lutheran Kosciusko, where the other patient was transported until the helicopter arrived.

Further information will be provided when released by Warsaw Police Department.
