ANDERSON — A Silver Alert has been issued for an Anderson man.

The Anderson Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Jeremy Smith.

He is a 37-year-old white male who is 6 foot tall, weighs 250 pounds and has brown hair with brown eyes. It is unknown what clothing Smith was wearing at the time he went missing.

Smith was last seen at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday, July 1. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
