NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING UPON PETITION
FOR VACATION OF PUBLIC WAY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Jama Roose and Jennifer Griffin, as Petitioners, have filed a verified Petition to Vacate a Public Way with the Kosciusko County Commissioners seeking the vacation of a public way, which Petition has been set for hearing before the Kosciusko County Commissioners on the 29th day of July, 2025, at 9:15 a.m. The hearing will be held in the old Courtroom, which is located on the third floor of the Kosciusko County Courthouse, 100 West Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580. The public way for which vacation is sought, is situate in Kosciusko County, State of Indiana, and is more particularly described as follows, to-wit:

A. Part of the First Addition to Crestwood as recorded in Deed Record 4 page 177 in the records of Kosciusko County, Indiana (This description prepared by Ryan D. Peppier, LS22300014, as part of original survey RS-110 Tract I completed by J.K. Walker and Associates, P.C., dated March 18, 2025), being more particularly described as follows, to wit:

BEGINNING at a Mag nail found at the Northeast corner of Lot Number 19 in said First Addition to Crestwood; thence S82˚-00’-15”W (GPS Grid bearing and used as the basis of bearings for this description), on and along the North line of said Lot Number 19, a distance of 55.00 feet to a square pin found at the Northwest corner of said Lot Number 19; thence N20˚-25’-06”W, a distance of 29.96 feet to a square bar found at the Southwest corner of Lot Number 20 in said First Addition to Crestwood; thence N69˚-44’-41”E, on and along the South line of said Lot Number 20, a distance of 60.00 feet to a square bar found at the Southeast corner of said Lot Number 20; thence S11˚-49’-34”E, a distance of 42.08 feet (platted 42 feet), to the point of beginning, containing 2053 square feet, more or less, subject to all legal right-of-way, subject to all legal drain easements and all other easements of record.

ANY PERSON desiring to be heard may file an objection or comments with the Auditor of Kosciusko County, Indiana or with the Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission, and any person may appear at said hearing and be heard in support of or objection to the Petition filed herein. The hearing may be continued by the Kosciusko County Commissioners without further public notice.

A copy of the Petition is on file in the Office of the Auditor of Kosciusko County, Indiana.
