Cancer Services President/CEO To Retire At End of Year
News Release

Dianne May
FORT WAYNE — Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, a local nonprofit providing comprehensive supportive services to families facing cancer, has recently announced that Dianne May, president and chief executive officer, will retire at the end of 2025.
May has served as the nonprofit’s top executive since 2003.
“Serving as the president and CEO of Cancer Services has been a privilege and the highlight of my professional career,” said May. “I am honored by the trust donors, clients and the CSNI board have placed in me for the past 22 years.”
The board of directors for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana has formed a search committee and engaged a professional consultant to help guide the transition. The search committee expects to begin accepting applicants in August.

Diane Calinski
Diane Calinski of Manchester University serves as board chair and the chair of the search committee. “The Cancer Services board of directors is immensely grateful to Dianne for her leadership and commitment to our mission over the past two decades,” Calinski said. “She leaves Cancer Services in good standing, and so we take the responsibility of hiring a new executive director very seriously. The board of directors will make all decisions with our mission and the people we serve at the forefront.”
Calinski also assured constituents that the transition will have a minimal impact on the services provided to local families.
