WARSAW — “I just want to support the Extension Homemakers,” said Debbie Larew at the Kosciusko County Community Fair Monday, July 7.
Larew is a former 10-year 4-H member and garden was one of her projects. Now, gardening is a form of therapy for her. Larew wants people who come to the fair to “see we are growing and producing.”
At the Home and Family Arts building, Larew proudly showed her projects at the exhibit and pointed out other notable projects as well.
Larew, an extension homemaker, started her garden this year by the first part of April to win her prize of best in show for green beans. She also entered her zucchini, rhubarb, cabbage, potatoes, and pansies.
She said, “the extension homemakers work really hard to support these exhibits.”
