WARSAW — Two former 4-H’ers were honored during the Kosciusko County Community Fair parade on Sunday, July 6.
Bob and Waneta Bishop, who own Bishop Farms of Leesburg, were the grand marshals of the event.
Bob Bishop noted their farm has “been in our family since 1833.”

Waneta, left, and Bob Bishop served as the grand marshals of the 2025 Kosciusko County Community Fair Parade on Sunday afternoon, July 6.
He said they have some beef cattle and farm “about 4,000” acres of corn and soybeans.
They have a son and a daughter, with another son having passed away. The Bishops also have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Their granddaughter Claire Bishop served as the Indiana State Fair queen in 2023.
Bob Bishop called the couple being the grand marshals “amazing.”
“I’m not so sure we’re deserving of it, but it’s amazing to be asked,” he said. “We’re just having a great time at the fair. It’s the greatest thing that this county has going and it needs a lot of support from a lot of people.”
