Man Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Over $1K In Perfume Products

WARSAW — A Michigan man was arrested for allegedly stealing over $1,000 in perfume products from a Warsaw store.
Loren Peter Wynsma, 46, Grand Rapids, Mich., is charged with theft where the value of property is between $750 and $50,000, a level 6 felony.
On May 31, 2024, a Warsaw Police officer responded to a theft report at Ulta Beauty. An employee said a man came into the store on May 30, 2024, and was acting suspicious.
According to court documents, the employee heard an item drop on the floor, followed by an alarm that came from a security device attached to a product. The man left the store with items in a shopping basket. He stole multiple perfume products valued at $1,324.
On June 5, 2024, the Warsaw officer received information from a Goshen detective about the suspect possibly being Wynsma, who had been arrested in Lansing, Mich.
Surveillance footage from the Ulta Beauty store was used to positively identify Wynsma as the man who stole the perfume.
Wynsma was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on June 1, 2025.
