Milford Man Flown After Wreck Northwest Of Leesburg

LEESBURG — A Milford man was flown after being ejected from a vehicle in a wreck early Sunday morning, June 8.
Benjamin L. Hochstetler, 30, West CR 1000N, had injuries over his entire body and was flown to the hospital after the accident at 4:27 a.m. on North CR 625W, at West CR 800N, northwest of Leesburg. Hochstetler was a passenger in the vehicle.
According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office accident report, Levi Plank, 27, Cedar Road, Bremen, was traveling northbound on North CR 625W in a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country. He was unable to stay in his lane and hit two NIPSCO guy wires. His vehicle rolled over several times and ended up in a field on its tires.
Plank complained of shoulder pain, but wasn’t transported. Another passenger, Caleb J. Plank, 23, Cedar Road, Bremen, had head and eye injuries, but wasn’t transported.
Levi Plank was arrested and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for operating while intoxicated.
Damage is estimated up to $25,000.
