First Wave Of Free Indy State Fair Concerts Announced

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis State Fair has announced the first wave of its free summer concerts, including a pop-rock band, a Hoosier legend and Bill Murray.

Five acts have been unveiled by the State Fair, set to perform at the Hoosier Lottery Free Stage during the year’s events. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and are free with paid fair admission. Seats are available on a first-come, first serve basis.
Three Dog Night, Friday, Aug. 1 (opening day): A pop rock band celebrating almost 50 years in the business. This is the band’s third consecutive attempt to play the Indiana Fair. The band had to cancel its fair shows in 2023 and 2024.
Disney Slowback DJ Night, Saturday, Aug. 2: Fans of Disney hits like “Under the Sea”, “Circle of Life” and “Let It Go”, can enjoy the music from its films, with selections from Disney Channel alumni such as Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.

Babyface, Wednesday, August 6: Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds of Indianapolis is a 13-time Grammy Award winner, producing and writing songs for such acts as Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Outkast, Pink, TLC and Usher.
Bill Murray and His Blood Brothers, Friday, August 8: Actor-comedian Bill Murray will perform together with the Blood Brothers, a musical collaboration with artists Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia. They will combine classic rock with Murray’s signature personality.
Melissa Etheridge, Friday, August 15: Known for hits like “I’m the Only One” and “Come to My Window,” this Grammy- and Academy Award-winning rocker has also starred in a one-woman Broadway show, a docuseries and created an opioid treatment research foundation.

The theme of this year’s fair is “Summer Soundtrack”. The number of tickets for the reserved viewing area is limited.
The Indiana Fair will be held from Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 17, from Tuesdays to Sundays. General admission tickets are available here.
