Debra Collier’s School of Dance to Present ‘Pass The Remote’

WARSAW — The stage will come alive with excitement and creativity as the students of Debra Collier’s School of Dance perform in the studio’s 48th annual recitals, Pass the Remote.
Performers from the studio will take the stage Saturday, May 31, for three performances at the Warsaw High School Performing Arts Center. The audience will be taken on a dazzling journey through the world of television, film and legendary music concerts in a performance that brings iconic moments to life.
From the carefree whistle of The Andy Griffith Show to the suspense and intrigue of the X-Files and Law & Order, the dancers will present an unforgettable performance of rhythm, nostalgia, and high-energy entertainment.
Over 100 students will be recognized throughout the recitals for five or more continuous years of study. “We are very proud of the students, their dedication, and hard work,” explains Deb Collier. “It is exciting to celebrate their accomplishments.”
Presale tickets for the performances may be purchased at tututix.com or the Performing Arts Center 60 minutes prior to each performance, which begin at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Very limited tickets are available for the 3 p.m. show.
Debra Collier’s School of Dance offers a wide variety of classes for dancers of all ages and levels. The studio provides various opportunities for students to develop their interest in dance, including upcoming workshops with guest instructors, Abby Jones and Hannah Crane. In addition to a Summer Short Session, various themed camps such as Ballerina Barbie Camp, Bluey and Moana are available.
