Realtor members are proud to help build a better community through programs such as this in hopes that these students will make significant contributions in their chosen field.
KBOR congratulates this year’s scholarship winners on their accomplishments and is proud to support their academic journey.
- Dre Clark: Clark recently graduated from Warsaw Community High School and will attend Purdue University Fort Wayne this fall, where he plans to major in Electrical Engineering. His passion lies in computer programming and technology, and he is excited to pursue a career that allows him to combine innovation with hands-on problem solving. As one of his letters of recommendation shared, “Dre’s curiosity and work ethic will take him far.” Dre is the son of Michelle Cabrera and Claude Clark.
- Riley Shepherd: Shepherd is a two-time recipient of the KBOR Scholarship, having first received the award in 2024 as a graduating senior from Tippecanoe Valley High School. He recently completed his freshman year at Huntington University, where he is majoring in Agribusiness, a path inspired by his upbringing around production farming and a decade of active participation in 4-H. In addition to his academic pursuits, Riley continues to excel athletically, playing basketball for Huntington University following a four-year varsity basketball career at Tippecanoe Valley. Riley is the son of Joel and Karla Shepherd of Leesburg.
- Lucas Wilkinson: Wilkinson is the son of Darren and Karena Wilkinson. He is a graduate of Wawasee High School. He will be attending Huntington University to pursue a degree in Agricultural Education with the goal of becoming an agriculture teacher. Wilkinson is a 10-year 4-H member and a dedicated member of Wawasee FFA, where he served as Chapter President and was honored with the FFA Blue and Gold Award. He was awarded KBOR’s 2025 “Spirit of the Heart” scholarship. This award honors REALTOR® Professionals who have been lost that touched their community throughout their lives. KBOR hopes to pass on the spirit of mission and purpose with this specially designated scholarship. Wilkinson has demonstrated a deep commitment to volunteering to his community by participating in service projects, including FFA and 4-H roadside cleanups, Mission of Hope meal packing and Dairy Barn cleanup efforts.
