ANDERSON — A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for an Anderson woman.

The Anderson Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Elizabeth Vanhorn.

She’s a 65-year-old white female who is 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs 165 pounds and has blonde hair with green eyes.

She was last seen wearing a red jacket, white long-sleeve shirt and blue capri pants and driving a 2006 silver Honda CRV with Indiana plate D607HV and missing the spare tire off the rear of the vehicle.

Vanhorn was last seen at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 22. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
