Warsaw Man Flown After Wreck Near North Webster

NORTH WEBSTER — A Warsaw man was flown after a two-vehicle wreck southwest of North Webster on Friday afternoon, May 9.
The accident happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. on CR 500N in the area of CR 700E.
According to information from Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Administrative Sgt. Doug Light, Michael Montgomery, 82, was traveling westbound on CR 500N in a Buick.
His vehicle hit the back of a Ford F-550 driven by John Rubrake, 32, Columbia City. Rubrake’s vehicle was slowing in traffic when he was struck.
Montgomery had a hand injury and was flown to Fort Wayne.
