Warsaw Man Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was arrested on multiple drug charges after officers responded to two drug overdoses at a residence.
Nathan Richard Yoder, 37, 1708 Tippecanoe Drive Apartment B., Warsaw, is charged with two counts of possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, unlawful possession or use of a legend drug, and two counts of maintaining a common nuisance, all level 6 felonies; possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; two counts of possession of paraphernalia, both class C misdemeanors; two counts of possession of methamphetamine with a prior dealing conviction, both level 5 felonies; and two counts of possession of paraphernalia with a prior conviction, both class A misdemeanors.
On April 11, Warsaw Police officers responded to a drug overdose report at a residence. The victim was taken to a local hospital. Yoder was at the home at the time.
According to court documents, upon searching the residence, officers found 0.2 grams of meth, drug paraphernalia, 19 pills identified as a legend drug, and several syringes.
On April 26, Warsaw Police officers responded to a report of a possible drug overdose at a residence. Upon arrival, officers saw Yoder attempting CPR on a woman.
While in the home, officers found marijuana and drug paraphernalia that tested positive for meth. Yoder told police the woman went to the bathroom and splashed water on her face. When he gave her an asthma inhaler, the woman became unresponsive.
Yoder has prior convictions for dealing in a narcotic drug and paraphernalia possession.
Yoder was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on April 26.
