Incoming Whitko Junior High Students Take School Tour

SOUTH WHITLEY — Fifth- and sixth-graders from Pierceton and South Whitley elementary schools toured Whitko Junior High School on Friday, May 2.
Whitko has two incoming junior high classes in the 2025-26 school year with the renovations to one wing of the school along with an addition on the school’s north side being completed this summer to house sixth- through eighth-graders.
The students were welcomed by Whitko Superintendent Amy Korus, Whitko Junior/Senior High School Principal Jodie Clark, Assistant Principal JD Maurer and other teachers and staff members before having lunch, participating in activities and visiting the Wildcat’s junior high spaces.
