WARSAW — Warsaw Community Public Library and Health First Kosciusko are partnering to host a Health & Resource Fair from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10.
This free event will offer a chance to connect with local organizations focused on mental, physical and behavioral health, as well as family services, insurance support and more.
Visitors can speak directly with representatives from a wide range of programs and service providers. May is High Blood Pressure Awareness Month, and free blood pressure checks will also be available.
Participating organizations include:
ASPIN Insurance Navigator: Help finding the right insurance plan, including Medicare options
B.A.B.E.: A voucher-based boutique offering free baby and maternity supplies for Kosciusko County families, funded by community sponsors. Vouchers (“B.A.B.E. coupons”) are earned through more than 60 community wellness partners.
Bowen Health: Mental health support, addiction recovery and life skills development
CareSource: Affordable health insurance plans
Fellowship Missions: Programs focused on addiction recovery, emergency shelter and life transformation for individuals experiencing homelessness or addiction
Fort Wayne Recovery/Allendale Treatment/Allendale Behavioral Health: Mental and behavioral help with rehab and recovery centers
Healthy Families Kosciusko: Parent-focused education and support, with connections to community resources and stress-reduction assistance
Kosciusko County WIC Program: Nutrition services and support for pregnant women, new mothers, infants and young children, provided locally through Cardinal Services
LITE: Individualized assistance for those reentering the community, including educational, vocational, spiritual and relational support and training
Live Well Kosciusko: Promoting wellness through services like free blood pressure screenings
