News Release
LAGRANGE — LaGrange Arts will hold a LaGrange INspired Artists’ Reception open to the public 7:00 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at The Garage Community Center, 111 W. Lafayette Street, LaGrange. The event celebrates the creative spirit of LaGrange County — its people, projects, and potential.
This evening is an opportunity to connect with one another, meet LaGrange Arts’ artists, share stories, and be inspired by the creativity and collaboration happening in our community. Light refreshments will be served.
The six LaGrange INspired artists are oil painter Sally Baldwin, photographer David Arment, photographer and videographer Patrick Redmond, potter Jesse Woodworth, illustrator Luis Garcia and painter Elizabeth Lehman.
The LaGrange INspired project was made possible due to a $10,000 Creative Convergence Grant from the Indiana Arts Commission and National Endowment for the Arts, and was a joint project between members of LaGrange County Arts, the LaGrange County Community Foundation, and the LaGrange County Economic Development Corporation.
