Wagon Wheel to host Youth Chorus Auditions

Auditions for Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat at The Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts
NEWS RELEASE
WARSAW — The Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts are to host Youth Chorus auditions for the professional summer production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.”
Auditions with be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in the Wagon Wheel Lobby, 2515 E. Center Street.
No advanced preparation is needed, those auditioning will learn a song from the show as a part of the audition process. Wagon Wheel urges those auditioning to bring a sense of enthusiasm, energy, and the love of preforming with them.
Two items are listed under the requirements for those seeking a chance to participate. Candidates must be between the ages of 12 to 16, and be under the height of 5 foot 4 inches tall.
Rehearsal Scheduling for the Youth Chorus requires a full attendance to all planned production practices. No conflict accommodations will be accepted.
The following dates have been listed for the rehearsal schedule,
- 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, May 20, through 23.
- All day, Saturday and Sunday, May 24 and 25.
- 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, May 27, through 30.
- All day, Saturday and Sunday, May 31, through June 1.
- 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday, June 2.
- 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday, June 3.
All Youth Chorus members are required by the Wagon Wheel to be available for every performance date.
Performances for the production of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, with a sponsor opening night, and public performances to carry on the next 10 days and showtimes to come.
