Makayla Perdue

MARION — A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared for a Marion teenager.

The Marion Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Makayla Perdue, a 17-year-old black girl who is 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 100 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Makayla was last seen wearing a grey, white and black sweatshirt and dark blue jeans.

Makayla is missing from Marion, which is 70 miles northeast of Indianapolis, and was last seen at 9:50 p.m. Thursday, April 3. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
