Fire Destroys Five Middlebury Motor Homes

MIDDLEBURY — A fire at a trucking company in Middlebury destroyed at least five motor homes the night of Wednesday, April 2.
The fire was at the Star Fleet Track, 107 Industrial Parkway and was reported around 8:40 a.m., said Middlebury Fire Chief Jeff Wogoman.
According to Wogoman, five campers, including at least part of Forest River and Jayco’s, caught fire and were destroyed. Many others have suffered from smoking and it is up to the involved companies to decide how to deal with them.
After around 40 minutes, the fire was brought under control by Middlebury and Clinton Township Fire Department. Its cause has not yet been identified and is being investigated by Middlebury Fire Department.
