Kosciusko Special Olympics Team Become Sectional Basketball Champions

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Special Olympics Kosciusko County athletes competed in a basketball sectional tournament at Manchester University on Saturday, March 22.
The Kosciusko Bobcats 5×5 team played Wabash Wolfpack and won 40-10. They also defeated the Clinton County ThunderCats 29-28 to become sectional champions in a close game. The team consisted of Matt Bammel, Kyle Cripe, Knick Fletcher, Zeus Leonard, Kevin McPeak, Amy Philson, Seth Seitzler and Isaiah Tessereau.
The Kosciusko Panthers 3×3 team played the Wabash County Timberwolves and lost 16-12. The team consisted of Chris Cole, Izzi Dawson, Kayce Joines, Andy Heeter, Daniel Shively, Morgan Swafford and Sabrina Turner.
The skills competition consisted of target pass, 10 meter dribble and spot shot.
