Area Police Reports
Kosciusko County
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 12:46 p.m. Friday, March 21, 300 block East Levi Lee Road, Warsaw. Officers investigated a report of residential entry.
- 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 6600 block North Third Trail, North Webster. Hanna Angel reported a lost or stolen cell phone.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents:
- 2:56 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 300 block West Main Street, Warsaw. Brian A. Zehring turned in money he found.
- 2:13 p.m. Friday, March 21, 1300 block Mariners Drive, Warsaw. Jenna L. Johnson reported the theft of clothing. Value: $100.
- 6:18 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 1200 block Lake City Highway, Warsaw. Lisa Glon, Milford, reported her vehicle was struck by a hit-and-run driver.
Fulton County
Officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following incidents:
- 7:22 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 10000 block West CR 700N, Culver. A citizen reported a person on a side by side, possibly followed by a pick up truck, came onto his driveway and did burnouts. There was no damage to the property, but the homeowner was mad about the rate of speed they were driving.
- 2:10 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 7400 block Storm Street, Rochester. Police were alerted to a dog being tied to a truck and not being fed or watered. The caller didn’t believe the dog has moved in a couple of days. Officers spoke to the homeowner who reported it was her daughter’s dog that she brought the previous night. The homeowner was advised that the dog needed around the clock water and shelter if it’s to be kept outside. The officer also didn’t observe a food bowl, but noticed it had a choker collar on. The homeowner was told choker collars are not allowed unless the dog is in training and only allowed while training is going on and are to be removed once training for the day is done. The homeowner stated she would talk to her daughter today and let her know. The officer will return on Monday to make sure the dog’s owner is complying.
- 12:53 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 900 block Fortna Drive, Rochester. Officials from a company reported they did a lock out at a residence and someone entered the property. Someone will be sent out to secure the residence. Officers checked the home and found no one inside, but the doors were unlocked and the back garage door was open.
