WARSAW — NIPSCO has alerted city officials that it will need to close Anchorage Road for an additional three days to complete gas relocation work, according to a news release from the city of Warsaw.

The closure will take place from Wednesday, March 19, through Friday, March 21, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The closure will be at the intersection of North Rainbow Drive and Bay Circle Drive.

North Rainbow Drive will be accessible at all times from the west. Bay Circle Drive will be accessible at all times from the east. Crews will place steel plates over the worksite and reopen the road each evening. Motorists not requiring direct access to businesses or homes on Anchorage Road are encouraged to use detours and avoid the area to reduce traffic backups.
