Jung Yu Yu, 81, Rochester, died at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, at home.

He was born Oct. 11, 1943, in China. His wife, Siem (Phoun) Yu Yu, whom he married Aug. 30, 1987, survives.

He also is survived by his daughters, Jennivine (Levi) Pitman, Vanuatu, and Dr. Lena (Alex Opell) Yu, Bloomington; four grandchildren; and two brothers.

Zimmerman Bros. Funeral Home, Rochester, is handling arrangements.
