Salomon Chavarria Centeno

WARSAW — A Warsaw man was recently arrested for allegedly touching a child in an inappropriate manner.

Salomon Chavarria Centeno, 45, 814 E. Arthur St., Warsaw, is charged with sexual misconduct with a minor, a level 5 felony.

On Feb. 27, a Warsaw Police officer responded to a report of a child being inappropriately touched by Chavarria Centeno. The child was interviewed at the Safe Harbor Advocacy Center.

According to court documents, the child said Chavarria Centeno touched them inappropriately and went into detail during their interview on the conduct. They said Chavarria Centeno told them not to say anything to anyone or something bad would happen.

The child also stated Chavarria Centeno offered them money.

Chavarria Centeno was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on Feb. 27.
