News Release

WARSAW — NIPSCO will close Anchorage Road from Friday, Feb. 28, through Friday, March 7, for utility relocation work.

The closure is for work to prepare for the city’s reconstruction of Anchorage Road. The city hopes to begin reconstruction later this year.

Following the Anchorage Road closure, Sunset Drive will then close between the bridge and Anchorage Road from Saturday, March 8, through Saturday, March 15, for additional work to be completed.

Work along Anchorage Road will continue for several weeks following these closures. Motorists should expect lane closures and flaggers, at times. Motorists are strongly encouraged to find alternative routes while the work is being completed.
