Pierceton Woman Arrested For Allegedly Stealing Items From Warsaw Walmart

WARSAW — A Pierceton woman was arrested for allegedly stealing items from the Warsaw Walmart.
Jessica Lynn Bumgardner, 41, 4773 E. 100S, Pierceton, is charged with theft, a class A misdemeanor; and theft with a prior conviction, a level 6 felony.
On Jan. 30, Warsaw Police officers responded to a theft report at Walmart. An asset protection employee said Bumgardner had skipped scanning items at a self check-out.
According to court documents, employees noticed Bumgardner was holding multiple items when she scanned only one of the items before placing the items in a bag.
Bumgardner continued to skip-scan items at the self check-out after employees intervened two times during her transaction.
Bumgardner told officers she was aware of what she was doing.
The total value of the items Bumgardner took past all points of sale was $43.05.
Bumgardner was previously convicted of theft in Kosciusko County in April 2023. She was released from probation in that case in November 2024.
Bumgardner has already been arrested and released on bond.
