WABASH — Indiana Department of Transportation announces the transfer of a section of SR 15 in the city of Wabash.

On Friday, March 7, Wabash will assume ownership of the road between US 24 and SR 13. The city will be responsible for maintaining and regulating all roadway activities within this area.

Starting March 7, semi traffic will be prohibited from using this section of road as a through route in the city of Wabash, except for local deliveries. Drivers who want to stay on SR 15 will follow its new alignment on US 24 and SR 13.

This change is part of an official agreement between INDOT and the city of Wabash.
