GOSHEN — Downtown Goshen Inc. is presenting a Taste of Goshen for First Fridays on March 7.

A Taste of Goshen will be a daylong event of local dining experiences that ties in with the Elkhart County Convention & Visitors Bureau’s “Sip & Savor: Elkhart County Restaurant Weeks” promotion, which is running Feb. 21 through March 9.

Those attending Taste of Goshen can enjoy deals and take advantage of Sip & Savor specials with which to enjoy the Maple City’s downtown dining options. Activities for kids, entertainment and shopping specials are also on the agenda for Taste of Goshen.

Amanda Rose, director of First Fridays, said Downtown Goshen Inc. is “excited” for Taste of Goshen to tie in with the Sip & Savor promo.

“We’re really proud to spotlight the diverse array of dining options in downtown Goshen,” said Rose. “We’ll have activities and entertainment to make it a memorable day, and we encourage folks to take this opportunity to come with friends and family in support of eating local.”

Downtown establishments offering special deals include Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn, Goshen Brewing Co., The Table at 108, Venturi, JoJo’s Pretzels and Maple City Market. Also participating in First Fridays will be the Goshen Historical Society and Fables Books.
