WARSAW — The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Kosciusko County and surrounding areas for Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning.

The advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, to 7 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13.

Snow is expected, mixed with freezing rain and sleet. Total snow accumulations between two and five inches and ice accumulations up to a tenth of an inch are possible.

Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute.

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Additional counties affected by the advisory include Elkhart, Fulton, Marshall, Noble, Wabash, and Whitley Counties.
