Winter Storm Watch Issued For Kosciusko County

WARSAW — The National Weather Service of Northern Indiana has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Kosciusko County.
This advisory is in effect from 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, to 7 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13.
Heavy mixed precipitation is possible. A mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will impact the area, with snow and sleet more likely further northwest. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches are possible.
Areas closer to US 24 are more likely to receive a mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain. Snow amounts nearest to US 24 are likely to be closer to 3 to 5 inches, with ice accumulations up to a tenth possible.
Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes.
