Head-On Collision shuts down Old US 31 in Fulton County

Two vehicles collided on Old US 31 in Fulton County.

FULTON COUNTY — At approximately 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, Parkview EMS was dispatched to a head-on collision on Old US 31 at County Road 600N. The Parkview Samaritan Helicopter was requested due to initial concerns over severe injuries. The request was later canceled after EMS determined the injuries were not critical.
EMS reported all parties able to exit their vehicles and reported minor injuries.
Indiana State Police and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department shut down Northbound and Southbound lanes of Old US 31 at County Road 550 N, and 700N. All Non-Emergency traffic was detoured at these roadblocks.
Agencies assisting on scene were Indiana State Police, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Rochester Fire Department, Parkview EMS, and Hammel Wrecker Service.
Northbound Lanes of Old US 31 were opened at 11:40 a.m., Southbound Lanes were opened at 11:50 a.m. as both vehicles were towed away and roadway debris was clear.
