Rochester Man Arrested For Failing To Register As Sex Offender

ROCHESTER — A Rochester man was arrested for allegedly failing to update his sex offender registry information.
Kale George Westerhoff Sr., 67, 6378 Maple Lane, Rochester, is charged with failure to register as a sex offender, a level 6 felony.
On Jan. 13, 2025, a Fulton County Sheriff’s Office detective was made aware of an individual who had not updated his sex offender status in several weeks. The individual was identified as Westerhoff.
According to court documents, Westerhoff was found guilty of rape and sexual battery in 2006. Since 2022, Westerhoff has been registering as homeless and reported to the FCSO every seven days, as required by Indiana Code.
However, the last date Westerhoff came to FCSO to register was Dec. 20, 2024.
Westerhoff was booked in the Fulton County Jail on Jan. 20, 2025.
