News Release
GOSHEN — Shop Til You Drop, all day long this Friday, is a chance to explore the array of shopping and dining options in lovely and historic Downtown Goshen. The family-friendly First Fridays function, presented by Downtown Goshen, Inc., offers a chance for the community to put the cold on hold and experience some joy-inducing wintertime indulgence in The Maple City’s unique downtown district.
Participating downtown businesses present in-store promotions and events — including live mannequins at boutique clothier I M SHE — and specials including Featured Items Under $50 offer shoppers and visitors the chance to treat themselves and stock up for warmer times ahead.
Artisan wares, pottery, furniture, sporting goods, boutique items, shoes, hardware, sustainable goods, memorabilia and apparel are among the variety of items shoppers can expect at Shop Til You Drop — which also includes entertainment and wide-ranging opportunities to warm up with something delicious at Downtown Goshen’s numerous dining and drinking establishments.
“Downtown Goshen is so lovely and historic, and has so many wonderful places to shop, eat and gather with community,” said Amanda Rose, director of First Fridays. “This time of year limits what we can do outdoors, and that makes February First Fridays the perfect time to celebrate Downtown Goshen for what goes on, indoors. Shop Til You Drop is a celebration of the Downtown Goshen shopping and dining experience, which is truly unique. For us this is a great way to spotlight the businesses and member organizations whose existence, support and participation is at the heart of our community programming efforts.”
